AARP Network Membership

What is an Age-Friendly State?

An Age-Friendly State is a statewide community committed to making life more livable for people of all ages. Membership in the AARP Network means our leadership is actively working with residents and advocates to improve our built and social environments.

This initiative prioritizes inclusivity, ensuring that as our population ages, our infrastructure, housing, and social systems evolve to support independence, combat isolation, and foster intergenerational connection for every Oregonian.

This work will be driven by the Multi-Sector Plan for Aging.
